Decent, Quotable

Nick (Eisenburg) is a pizza delivery guy who just cannot get a break.Nick's best friend, Chet (Ansari) is doing only slightly better as asubstitute teacher. Dwayne (McBride) hates his dad and needs to hire aprofessional to kill him in order to receive a large inheritance.Dwayne and his partner in crime, Travis (Swardson), kidnap Nick inorder to have him hold up a bank. A bomb vest it put on Nick and he isrequired to get them $100,000 from a local bank. Without giving toomuch detail away, it is safe to say that chaos ensues.I love this type of movie. I feel like the newer 'action-comedy' genrehas really taken off in recent years with films like 'The Other Guys'and 'Date Night.' 30 Minutes Or Less follows in this same path butleaves a bit to be desired. There seems to be plot holes throughout thefilm and a lot of back story that the viewer is expected to know goinginto the film. I think that this is an excellent concept and it is nota bad little film. However, the 83 minute run time requires much ofthis movie to be squeezed in. If the movie were drawn out over a twohour time frame I feel that it would have worked a lot better. I dolook forward to a blu-ray release in hopes of seeing many deletedscenes. 30 Minutes Or Less is a decent film with a lot of quotablelines and therefore; I feel that it might flourish as a cult comedy onDVD / blu-ray format.

Funny and fast-paced comedy

30 Minutes or Less is a comedy from the director of Zombieland with aninteresting premise- a pizza guy is strapped with a bomb and has to roba bank. There's some funny scenarios and dialogue, but it's a fairlyconventional comedy. The plot is original, and is bigger than the summary would suggest. There's plots for business, killing with a hit-man, a love interest, there's a lot to juggle. Since a draw is the fast-paced nature of thefilm, everything is generally well-developed and the pacing isexcellent. In a departure from his usual boy-man role,Jessie Eisenburg is aslightly stoned young adult, until the bomb thing happens, then he justbecomes his usual self + a bomb. Anzari isn't too funny, and I think hecould've been replaced. There's a couple racial jokes about him though, like his skin and he gets called 'slumdog' in a more extreme joke.McBride is the perfect meathead for the role, and Swarsdon, who I adorefrom his "Smokin' Weed" video on Youtube, is a good stupid sidekick.McBride's father, a hardened 'Nam vet, could've benefited from a starcameo. I think Martin Sheen (Apocalypse Now) could've been a seriousplus. I mean if Bill Murray was in Zombieland, why couldn't a Vietnammovie veteran be in 30 Minutes? The jokes vary, from physical jokes tostupid 'That's what she said' jokes. I found myself laughing out loud abit, and for me the highlight of the film happens in the robbery to oneof the bank customers.30 Minutes or Less is a fun, vulgar comedy. It's worth your money, butnot your brain. I personally liked it much better than Horrible Bosses,a recently-released comedy with similar feel. 30 Minutes is a fun one.7.3/10

MLDinTN (08 May 2012)

it's super easy to rob a bank....

according to this movie. There are these 2 dumb guys, Dwayne andChavis, whom decide they need 100 grand to hire a guy to kill Dwayne'sdad. So, they come up with a brilliant idea of kidnapping a guy, put abomb on him, and get him to rob a bank to get the money. So, they decide the pizza delivery guy, Nick, is the perfect choice.Nick gets his friend, Chet, involved and they end up robbing the banklike there's nothing to getting caught. Then of course there's all thisdistrust and trying to get the money and the code to disable the bomb.Just a bunch of silliness.FINAL VERDICT: It's got some humorous parts and has a very shortrunning time. Worth catching on cable.

Leon_Chang_2000 (08 May 2012)

Inconsistent Writing

While the premise of this film leaves much room for hilarity, as shownby the promising trailer, it was unable to capitalize on this due towhat feels like a lackluster effort on the part of the writers. Thereare many tell-tale indications of this, such as in the inconsistency ofthe characters. Palpable tension is generated between characterswithout any warning, and then it is forgotten by the next scene.Another glaring issue was the pacing of the story. If you saw thetrailer, you would think it centered around this bank robbery by twonormal guys. However, this is only one small piece of the movie. Theopening was simultaneously slow and somewhat insufficient, theneverything sped up tremendously, and then the latter half of the filmwas dragged out to fill up the remaining time needed for the movie tobe taken seriously. In all, I would rate this film a 6.5/10 since it was still entertainingand done by clearly talented actors. However, note that this is farfrom their best work, probably because the actors were confused aboutwho their characters were.

The Vidiot Reviews...

30 Minutes or LessThe reason pizza places offer 30 minutes or less delivery service isbecause after 31 minutes the cheese turns back into plastic.Fortunately, the delivery guy in this comedy is too fast forcongealing. When two deadbeats, Dwayne (Danny McBride) and Travis (Nick Swardson),decide to kill Dwayne's rich father, they must first raise enoughcapital for a hit man.Eventually, they settle on kidnapping a pizza delivery driver, Nick(Jesse Eisenberg), strapping a bomb to his chest, and forcing him torob a bank for them. With only 10-hours until detonation, Nick enlists his friend (AzizAnsari) to assist in the robbery, with disastrous results. While the plot is straightforward, 30 Minutes or Less has enough twistsand mediocre comedic performances to warrant a 7% gratuity. Nonetheless, how is a pizza delivery driver supposed to rob a bank whenthey are only allowed to carry less than $20 cash? (Yellow Light)

Average Comedy Movie

Good cast but it fell flat sometimes. The plot summary sounded interesting and ripe with potential humor.Lots of good one liners in the beginning and I especially liked thepizza delivery scene with the two kids.Jesse Eisenberg was fine, but I feel that if the script was tighter itwould have been better.Fred Ward is very funny as the Major I wished there was more of him.Danny McBride is beginning to get tiresome because it seems like he isalways playing the same character. I see no range or development.OK ending.I don't see this as one of those movies that I would watch again letalone over and over again.

SnakesOnAnAfricanPlain (07 May 2012)

Enjoyable, but not as a comedy.

30 Minutes or Less takes a rather dark and yet funny premise, but thenplays it more like an action movie. Eisenberg is strapped with a bomband is told to rob a bank. What's quite peculiar about this film isthat it focuses so much on the Danny McBride character. It seems asthough they are trying to put some development around him, but there isnothing to like about him. He's lazy, crude, stupid, and dangerous.Aziz Ansari is just difficult to watch. He has no comic timing, and canonly express his lines in one tone of voice. The heist itself is agreat watch, and I loved how the pacing kept the movie going. It wasn'tjust a large number of failed robberies. The movie kept on movingtowards the finale. I don't think I had a genuine laugh here, but I wasnever bored and the short running time worked in its favour. Despitethe enjoyment factor, I never once believed the bomb was close to goingoff, removing any tension.

PWNYCNY (06 May 2012)

This movie has problems.

What are the problems with this movie? That it purports to be a comedyyet there is nothing funny about the story? That the lead actor is nota comedian? That the story's theme is morbid? That nobody in the storyis actually funny? These rhetorical questions sum up the problems withthis movie. Mixing comedy with action can work, if done correctly. Thismovie does not do that correctly. As a result, this movie is a hybrid, combining the worst features of both genres, except for a chase scenewhich was exciting and attention grabbing. There is nothing wrong withan action movie that has a certain levity. That can be entertaining. But sometimes it doesn't work and when it doesn't work, then theresults are bad. Jesse Eisenberg is a wonderful actor. He should becast in other pics more appropriate for his talent.

FlashCallahan (30 April 2012)

Doesn't really deliver....

I wasn't a fan of Zombieland, I thought it was one of the mostoverrated movies of 2009, but I like the cast and I thought the plot ofthe story was promising. The basic premise is, Danny McBride is playing the same character likehe does in every other thing he's in (not a bad thing) but the twist isthat Fred Ward is his dad.Danny needs $100,000 to hire a hit-man to kill his dad, so he straps abomb to Jesse Eisenbergs chest and tells him he must rob a bank in thenext ten hours or go Ka-Boooom! Sounds really good, and has the chanceto be one of the funniest films of the year.it really isn't, it's rarely funny, and despite the film being only 90minutes long, it drags. It's not the casts fault they are all really good. It's just that thescript writers expect the audience to laugh at the same jokes we werelaughing at nearly ten years ago, but with added swearing. It tries to be original, and just when it's in danger of getting good, the film depends on innuendo and profanity, which i'm all for, but itgets a little too much in this. It's a great premise, with some good performance, but the script letsit down.great Tanning salon commercial though.

Steve Pulaski (30 April 2012)

So...how's your day been?

Though the screenwriter Michael Diliberti denies it, it's pretty clearwith the striking similarities that 30 Minutes or Less is trying tomirror the 2003 incident where a pizza delivery man was forced to rob abank with, what he thought, was a fake bomb around his neck.Unfortunately it wasn't, and the bomb exploded killing him. Dilibertiwas said to be "vaguely aware" of it, but after you watch the film, then read the story, it becomes pretty clear that he was more thanthat.30 Minutes or Less is a highly energetic comedy with many laughs, butway too many action set pieces. It relies on that instead of thechemistry between Jesse Eisenberg and Aziz Ansari. The film is aboutNick (Eisenberg), a pizza man who promises your pizza in thirty minutesor less. His best friend Chet (Ansari) is disgusted when he learns thatNick is sleeping with his twin sister Kate (Vadsaria). They fight andthen go on with their merry way.Meanwhile we are also introduced to Dwayne (McBride) and Travis(Swardson), two losers who work for ten dollars an hour cleaningDwayne's father's pool. Dwayne's dad (played by Fred Ward who scoressome of the biggest and dirtiest laughs in the film) was in themilitary and won the ten million dollar jackpot on the lottery yearsago. He spends his money worse than a drunken sailor on big screen TVs,pools, and cars, but somehow has managed to not blow all ten millionyet. This causes much dismay amongst Dwayne who is sick of his father'sspending habits and his unpleasant personality. One night at a strip club, a dancer convinces Dwayne that she shouldcall her hit-man (Pena) to kill Dwayne's father so he can inherit themoney so that she can make quite a few bucks off of him. The problem isthat the hit-man needs $100,000 or he won't do it. So, Dwayne andTravis call an unsuspecting pizza man, who of course has to be Nick, strap a bomb vest to him, tell him that he needs to rob a bank in lessthan ten hours or the bomb will detonate. When he gets the money he'llbe given a code that will disarm the bomb. That is one bloated comedic premise, and it astonishes me everyone inthe film is stupid enough to actually go through with all that.Director Ruben Fleischer who worked with Eisenberg on Zombieland twoyears ago has unfortunately made him take about ten steps back from thegenius he played in The Social Network.Eisenberg and Ansari seem like they could assist in making somelovable, Harold and Kumar-like chemistry. The problem is the filmdoesn't ever want to let the characters go off on their own, and at thefear of the audience becoming bored, they decide to throw in so manycliché action set pieces. Once the heist happens, the film doesn't haveany purpose else so it decides to throw in a bunch of typical twistsand turns hoping to extend the plot past an hour and twenty minutes. Italready barely sustains a full length film.30 Minutes or Less does pack in some pretty heavy laughs, most of themcoming from Aziz Ansari as he shows why he should be involved as thelead in more R-rated comedies. He's different and funnier than mostcomedy actors and he almost compliments the mediocre Danny McBride andNick Swardson. All I can say is that 2011, along with Your Highness, has not been a kind year for Danny McBride. And when considering BuckyLarson: Born to Be a Star it hasn't necessarily been Swardson'syear-to-remember either. The premise is cute, the actors are energetic and lively, and some biglaughs are achieved. Ultimately, this is the work of a first timescreenwriter and instead of working on something much, much easier, hedecided to dive into a film with sizable stars with basic skills. Iwouldn't mind seeing Jesse Eisenberg and Aziz Ansari in a film togetheragain, in fact, I'd commend it, but hopefully next time they'll be in afilm where there is more laughs and less yelling.Starring: Jesse Eisenberg, Aziz Ansari, Danny McBride, Nick Swardson,Fred Ward, and Michael Pena. Directed by: Reuben Fleischer.

Wait until it comes out on DVD to rent if you must see this movie

I just got home from seeing this movie. I felt compelled to come onhere, or anywhere else that I can to warn people not to waste theirmoney on it! I was in the theater with about a dozen other people, andI barely heard anyone else laugh, at all. I know I didn't. The moviedoesn't suck you in, I found that it barely kept my attention. Theacting is really pretty bad, and there's nobody that "likeable" thatkeeps you wanting to watch.I'm not sure what I was expecting, but the reviews that I heard werewrong. It's not funny. It was just a simple movie, and didn't have muchcomedic value to it at all. I wish I could get my money back.If you want to laugh, go see The Change Up!

TheHrunting (26 April 2012)

You might want to be smashed for this one

This is a film where the ludicrous story is in the background with theplayers throwing out banter, odd little quirks and working onfriendship through the thick and thin in the foreground. There's thetwo buddies who've got each other's back, or at least they initiallythought when secrets come out about Chet (Aziz Ansari) confessing tobeing the culprit for Nick's (Jesse Eisenberg) parent's divorce andNick sleeping with Chet's twin sister one time way back. On theopposite corner, Dwayne (Danny McBride) lives at home with hislottery-winning, Marine-spouting dad who belittles him. So he turnsright back around and acts all dominating and self-centered to thetag-along Travis (Nick Swardson) who wants to make an impression, sohe'll do just about anything for his respect. As the title suggests Nick is a "30 Minutes or Less" pizza guy whohates his job. Meanwhile Dwayne despises his dad and from the advice ofa stripper decides to hire a hit-man to take care of his father andcollect his remaining lottery bankroll. He'll need $100 grand of hisown for the hire and decides to get some pizza dude to rob a bank forhim with some convincing of a bomb vest. Yep, the story is prettyridiculous to say the least--despite supposedly mirroring real lifeevents in Pennsylvania--as point A doesn't always smoothly line up topoint B in the film. Dwayne and Travis have an idea--wham!--they have asolution fall into their lap, literally. Nick is presented with adilemma--wham!--he jumps right into it like it was his calling card.Director Ruben Fleischer along with Eisenberg did a great turn aroundfor "Zombieland" and you might except them to have done so here. Exceptthis is either a make it or break it movie, since the scenarios areover-the-top and the dialogue is going for broke with the goofy, juvenile and throwing a parade with low self-esteem--sex, gay, racistjokes that might be funnier on substances but a share of them throwawayotherwise--instead of possibly the witty or setting up punchlines, which makes this more a single shot film than a repeater. It felt like they tried too hard at times for that laugh by sayingwhatever to get a reaction rather than working through a scene. Otherfilms have gotten away and proved to be thoroughly funny gems with asimilar setup, but that's pretty much all this has going for it withnot too many tricks up its sleeves otherwise. It's an attempt at asimple laugh riot by taking a trip to the loony land of the thought tobe implausible. Though it doesn't always fully sculpt that world theytake you to. It feels like you got invited to a gathering, yet don'talways get a full feel for the people around you to truly let loose andhave a grand time yourself because they're nothing but loafers, idioticand get themselves in entanglements for all the wrong reasons--notexactly charismatic to say the least, even when laughing at them. Notto mention the character development went in and out whenever they feltlike it: from knowing better to not knowing better, to doing it becausethey're forced but then enjoying getting caught up in it.Swardson probably has the most range as he's nearly capable--he was theone who built a complex bomb after all--but doesn't want to let down afriend, so he goes along to get along. The others arrive in one stateand leave in a similar state: little growth, little to learn. Thecredits rolled down somewhat abruptly without showing the after partywhere their adventurous story is told or their reward is enjoyed. Yeah,it's a silly comedy but there doesn't feel like that much in the way ofa challenge rather than a contrivance for life's struggles, as a shareof the setups are there to a point, just not always capitalized on ortransitioned to its own advantage. The twin sister literally feels likethe twin sister without a name, as she's dropped off in the storysomewhere as a mirage to work towards for the slacker Nick, aseverybody else around him is becoming more successful. Chet so happensto like his full time teaching job, and Nick's lost love so happens tobe moving to Atlanta during all this mayhem. There were some lines herethat are funny from the jittery Aziz Ansari and some here nor therefrom the others, but overall hit and miss. To its credit the movie goesby very quickly, as in they move from one place to the next in a rapidsuccession, even if what they're doing doesn't always feel thatgravitating or memorable past a cursory viewing, if that even. Ifyou're a die hard fan of a performer here, I recommend a rental. A freerental. A free rental when you're all taxed out and there's nothingelse to watch.

OKReviewer (23 April 2012)

Ouch

There are plenty of bad puns to be had with the title of this movie, but the cheesiest and most appropriate I can offer after watching it is"83 Minutes Long and Still a Mess." In the age of the three-hourcomedy, I thought it would be a relief to watch a laugher with atighter belt. Unfortunately, even with the fast title, Less dragged onmuch longer than I wished it to.Less seems like a half-a**ed debacle, where everyone including theCaptain jumped ship when they felt the movie sinking. The direction, ifyou can call it that, was done by Ruben Fleischer, who couldn't havepossibly given his maximum effort on this film. His recent film successwas directing the 2009 film Zombieland, which was a taut and intriguingcomedy. Zombieland had a less original premise than Less, butconsistently provided laughter and a few tense action sequences. Lesssimilarly attempts to combine action and comedy, but provides anextremely flat and jumbled film. The writing is slovenly. There are cheap laughs aplenty, and even a fewgood belly-busters, but laughter is inevitable when you try and force ajoke every single line of the movie. My question is, why did thewriters, and director for that matter, keep the crap that didn't stickto the wall? Watching Less felt like watching a movie shot in one takebefore it hits the editing room; so many intended jokes fall flat andfail to register. Even lazier than the joke writing is the characterwriting. Of course Less is a comedy, and an intentionally stupid one atthat. Viewers shouldn't go in expecting to see detailed characterdevelopment a la Mad Men; I certainly didn't. But the characters inLess change personalities and character traits on a whim and at analarming rate.In the movie's first scene, we see Jesse Eisenberg's character Nick, calmly and deliberately con two teenagers out of 40 dollars. But, afterthe first ten minutes of the movie, even before he gets the bomb/plotdevice strapped on his chest (which admittedly would make anyone changetheir disposition), he turns into a manic motormouth. The mostoffensive and unexplained character shift is that of the amateurcriminal Travis, played by Nick Swardson (who in a side note needs tofind a new agent after agreeing to star in the upcoming guaranteed bombBucky Larson. Find the trailer if you haven't seen it already; I almostclawed my eyes out in the theater seeing it before Less). Travis startsout as a complete imbecile, seemingly unable to think independently. Then, throughout the movie, Travis tries on about three or fourdifferent personalities before Swardson gives up altogether. And withwriting that uneven, who could blame him?Aziz Ansari predictably throws down the best performance in Less, andnot simply by default. Unlike his stand-up comedy, which is aconsistently high-pitched freight train of energy, Ansari is able togive his Chet character a dynamism I didn't expect from him. Sure, there are plenty of squeaky outbursts, but he knows that the outburstseems louder and more hilarious if there is a calm before thedetonation. Ansari is the only actor relishing the gags, butunfortunately is fed plenty of misfired jokes by the writers as well.Danny McBride, deservedly renowned for his Kenny Powers character onHBO's Eastbound and Down, seems content to cash the paycheck and moveon. He plays Dwayne, a much less funny Powers reprise, whose bumblingcriminal character the writers mistakenly believe we care about. Theyinexplicably allow the movie to take a plot turn into his domain, yetthe audience could care less what fate awaits him.Good comedy shouldn't be as strenuous a venture as it is watching 30Minutes or Less. Luckily, we all live in the internet age, and while Ino longer have this option, you can save your ticket money and watchAziz Ansari stand-up videos on YouTube instead. For my other movie reviews, visithttp://scottsdoublefeature.blogspot.com

Review of the movie "30 minutes or less" by New News and Movie Reviews

30 Minutes or Less stars Jessie Eisenberg as our pizzaboy protagonistNick. An average guy just working a crappy minimum wage job. As you canprobably tell his life isn't that exciting, but all this changes whenhe is kidnapped and wakes up with a bomb strapped to his chest. He istold by Dwane and Travis (Danny McBride and Nick Swardson) that he has10 hours to bring them 100,000$ or they will explode the bomb and themovie is off! I figured I was going to like the movie when I saw actorslike Danny McBride and Aziz Ansari in the trailers but I wasn'texpecting to like it this much. It really took me by surprise. Raunchyhumor, sex jokes, and foul language, it's all here. But the good thingabout the movie is that they're all done well. Nick Swardson and DannyMcBride are hilarious together and there were only a couple of scenesthat didn't have me chuckle at least once. Danny McBride does feel likehe always plays the same character in every movie, but it seems to workin his advantage here as he plays the character quite well. It alsohelps that he has Nick Swardson beside him. I've always enjoyed Nick'shumor (haven't seen Bucky Larson yet) and love his stand-up comedy soit was great to see him paired with McBride. They work well togetherand both do a good job in the movie. For the full review, visit us at:http://nnandmr.blogspot.com/

Perfect Comedy!!!

Now this is my style of comedy. It has a great plot, hilarious dialog, awesome actors and a good amount of action. Eisenberg stars as Nick, apizza delivery driver who never delivers the pizza in time. He hangsout with his friend, Chet and get drunk. On the other side of town areDwayne and Travis, two slacker friends want money and try to open atanning salon/brothel. Dwayne decides to hire a hit-man to kill hisrich dad, but he needs $100,000 to do so. At random, they get Nick todeliver them a pizza, but they knock him out and strap a bomb to hischest. If he doesn't rob a bank within ten hours, they will detonatethe bomb. Nick asks Chet help him in robbing the bank. (The scene whenthey're robbing the bank is hilarious!) Will Nick get the money toDwayne before times runs out? If you want a dirty dark comedy, you'lllove 30 MINUTES OR LESS!!!

John DeSando (14 April 2012)

Classic Slack

30 Minutes or Less is more or less a standard slacker comedy with notone but two pairs of buddies scheming for money and incessantly riffingon old movies, the Internet, oral sex, and myriad other low-comedytopics delivered with rapid fire and occasional laughs. As in classic slacker films like Clerks and Dumb and Dumber, not muchsignificant work is being done, just a good measure of trying to findways of making easy money or having a good time. Jesse Eisenberg asNick is a Michael Serra kin, an underachieving pizza delivery guythrown into a bank robbery. Basically he's nerdy and lovable, cluelessyet innately smart enough to pass out pop cult references to make himthe life of any party.Nick has been outfitted with a body bomb by super slackers Dwayne andTravis (Danny McBride and Nick Swardson), who demand he get them$100,000 or be blown up in 10 hours. Nick and buddy Chet (Aziz Ansari)spend most of the film's merciful 83 minutes robbing a bank and tryingto get the code to defuse the bomb. The bank robbery is the high point (or low if you wish) as Nick andChet bungle every aspect of the operation and still make it exciting, stupid, and funny at the same time. (As Nick shows his body bomb to acop: "Guess what? You just brought a gun to a bombfight, Officer!")Hurt Locker this is not. It's just an average end-of-summer comedy flick with lame jokes andeccentric characters such as Fred Ward's "Major," a vet with a pen gunwho's an abrasive father to son, Dwayne; Juicy (Bianca Kajlich), astripper whose fondled breasts inspire Dwayne to murder his father insurely the most irreverent take on Oedipus ever crafted for film.Going over old slacker territory is challenging: It means ratcheting upthe raunch and driving cars fast because stopping at all leaves time toconsider how infantile the proceedings are. Yet the plot moves along. It's the end of summer--don't ask for more because you won't get it.

Dumb and dumber (and dumberer & dumbest) odd coupling comedy/actioner has its moments with fine comedic chemistry.

30 MINUTES OR LESS (2011) ** Jesse Eisenberg, Aziz Ansari, DannyMcBride, Nick Swardson, Michael Pena, Fred Ward, Bianca Kajlich,Dilshad Vadsaria. Dumb and dumber buddies (imbeciles McBride andSwardson not exactly a stretch for either) hatch a hare-brained schemeto conduct a murder-for-hire by abducting a pizza delivery driver(Eisenberg) and strapping him with a bomb to rob a bank for thenecessary funds (!) Very loosely based on a real-life incident (withdecidedly more grim results) this goofball action comedy has itsmoments primarily between the on screen odd-coupling of twitchy/brainyEisenberg and his best bud Ansari bringing the sharp sarcasm and theTweedle Dee/Tweedle Dumb rapport between McBride and Swardson (theformer coasting on his 14th minute of fame for his increasinglyboorish, obnoxious persona; not much of a stretch here!) While directorRuben Fleischer keeps things on a laugh/bam-thank-you-ma'am even keelthe script by Michael Diliberti & Michael Sullivan runs on fumes.

I'm Done Kenny... I'm Done.

Oh how it aches my heart to speak these words... Kenny Powers we aredone. If you are not familiar with the name, it is Danny McBride'scharacter in East Bound and Down. All the crude laughter and clevercringe humor that you once had has now turn into you painfully tellingpenis and vagina jokes as if it's the only joke you know. It's likebeing at a party and you started making a couple of penis jokes, andyeah the first few are pretty funny, but then you just start soundingawkward and desperate. Yeah I'd be giggling when I was 14, but come onman, you're not even clever anymore. The fact that you want us to laughat these terrible jokes is insulting. As for the rest of the cast... Eisenberg takes him self too serious andhe's starting to come off as a douche. Aziz is funny but this characteris not. Every punchline was delivered the same exact way, which makesit painfully obvious when he is trying to queue a laugh. Nick Swardsonwas by far the most animated character, and delivered very well as heactually saved McBride from a string of terrible punchlines. All in all this movie was terribly disappointing. The movie had no paceand killed it's own momentum. The one bank robbery scene wasanti-climatic and the momentum built inside that scene was killed witha quick escape and a divert change of pace. I don't particularly like writing bad reviews but I felt like thismovie could have been so much more.

I think I had to give this one a star rating; so, I tried to give itone-eighth of a star and I'm not sure if it will work. So, if it showsas one star, please keep in mind my intent.I never thought I'd see a need to go negative on stars, but this onewould fir the bill.I'll not go into a long dissertation . Suffice it to say that boring, tedious, juvenile, stupid all are descriptors that over inflate myopinion of this _____. I had to leave that blank, because this is noteven good enough to be called a movie, let alone a film.Save you money - even excellent layered butter popcorn doesn't makeseeing this worthwhile.
