"Cheeseburger!"
Throw in seedy nudity, throw in endless blood and that's all it hasgoing for it. I guess non-stop parading isn't a bad thing. I guess.'Blood Sisters' is a no-budget straight-to-video modern vampire effortthat's lost within its repetitive actions, uninteresting story and barelooking production. The cheapness reeks off the screen. Limited sets,terribly cheesy background music and lousily crude effects. No youdidn't hit the replay button, the director liked to show the neckfeeding (that's all we get) in bloody glory over and over again forevery possible victim. Before that occurred you might be lucky enoughfor one of the female vampires or victims to go about stripping andflaunting about but directly to the camera. This could go for about acouple minutes and it pretty much opens up that way. The attacks arevicious, but are lifelessly staged.The performances are implausibly low-end in quite a self-aware andexploitative style. The interactions between Erica Howards and KerryLui were rib-tickling. Deborah Huber leads the way as head vampire of asmall sorority group. Who snarl a lot and bare their fangs at nearlyopportunity. For a society trying to stay secret, they certainly bringa glaring amount of attention to themselves. What did catch my eyethough was in one scene there has got to be one fashionable tie I'veever seen.Tracy has just started at her new college, where she learns from herroommate that students have been disappearing. She then gains theattention of an exclusive sorority group when she starts poking hernose in their business.It felt like it was trying to head back to those sensually eroticvampire flicks of the 70s, but with its lack of style and visualcreativity it came off low-brow, mundane and lacking atmosphere. Thepacing is really sluggish and confused script is awkwardly blunt. Someold vampire folklore (stake to heart) is mixed with new (vampire can'tgo in the sun after feeding).Mainly unexciting, saved by a few pleasurable inclusions.

Horrible, just plain horrible!
You know something? Brian Damage Films has put out a lot of good movies inthe past. But lately I've noticed that they are just not cutting it anymore.And with this release, it just hammers the company further into the ground.This was even worse than the Witchcraft movies and that's pretty bad. Theplot really didn't make a damn bit of sense, the sound was horrible. Thismovie was just plain bad. Although, Phoebe Dollar did a pretty good job andwas the one who kept the movie alive.She just has that evil look that we all love. Another thing that irritatedme about this video was the gore effects. They were unconvincing! Gosh, Ican do better with the gore effects and I don't even have any money. Ohwait, they didn't either. I give this a 1. That's it. Itsucked!
