In October 2010, the official E! website announced that a second spin-off, titled Kourtney and Kim Take New York, was about to begin filming in New York and is scheduled to air in January 2011. The show will be similar to Miami as Kourtney and Kim will oversee the opening of a third D-A-S-H store, which is located in SoHo. The show premiered on January 23,2011.

As a response to Kimberly "Kim" Kardashian's lavish wedding and quick divorce, there is a growing movement to remove the Kardashian series' off the air. The petition, which has been posted on gopetition.com, states "these shows are mostly staged and place an emphasis on vanity, greed, promiscuity, vulgarity and over-the-top conspicuous consumption...We are respectfully requesting that your network find other shows to air." As of 11/20/11, the petition has close to 160,000 signatures.
